Build a rotating grain roaster

Basic idea

This project was based on the rotisserie that is sold as an accessory for Weber barbeque kettles.

I used a pot bought from my second-hand store, and the grain is continually turned by the action of the rotisserie as it heats up.  Grain roasting can be quite a smoky process, best done outdoors.  I found that the charcoal fire adds quite a smoky character to the grain, so I now prefer to roast the grain on my gas barbeque.

This pot will roast about 1.5kg of grain.
